1. About these terms
These terms govern Defteri, a recipe and food-diary app operated by JCG Nutrition Ltd, Cyprus, company number HE 489188.

By creating an account or using Defteri, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. Accounts and age
An account and verified email are required. You must be at least 16 years old; Defteri does not provide a parental-consent account flow. You must provide accurate information, secure your credentials and tell us promptly if your account may be compromised.
3. Recipes and nutrition
Recipes, nutrition values and diary totals are for general information and planning. They are not medical, dietetic or other professional advice.
Values can vary with brands, substitutions, preparation and serving size. You are responsible for ingredient labels, allergies, intolerances, food condition and safe cooking temperatures. Defteri cannot guarantee that a recipe suits your individual needs.
4. Free, Plus and Pro AI
Defteri v1 provides Free, Plus and Pro AI access. Free includes the bilingual recipe catalogue, verified nutrition, favourites and creator follows. Plus also includes the calorie and macro diary, one-tap recipe logging, custom foods and personal targets. Pro AI adds the optional AI Kitchen for eligible subscribers aged 18 or over.
AI Kitchen output is a proposed recipe generated from the request you submit. It may be incomplete or incorrect and is independently checked by Defteri only within the stated technical and nutrition controls. You remain responsible for labels, allergens, ingredient condition, substitutions and safe cooking. You must not use AI Kitchen for medical diagnosis, treatment or emergency advice, to bypass safety controls, or to submit unlawful or third-party confidential material. Advertising is not a feature of v1.
5. Subscriptions
Defteri Plus is offered as monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's App Store. Apple shows the exact price, currency, tax and applicable terms before purchase. Payment is charged through your Apple Account and renews automatically unless cancelled in Apple Account subscription settings.
Restoration, billing, refunds, grace periods and cancellation are also subject to Apple's terms and processes. Deleting a Defteri account does not itself cancel an App Store subscription.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Defteri, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, bypass security or membership controls, scrape or redistribute the catalogue at scale, upload malicious material, impersonate another person or use the service unlawfully.
7. Intellectual property
Defteri, its branding, software, design and catalogue content are owned by JCG Nutrition Ltd or used with permission. You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app, not a right to reproduce, sell or commercially exploit its content.
8. Availability and changes
We may maintain, update or change Defteri and suspend access where necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance or misuse. We will not materially reduce a paid service during its active term without the notice or remedy required by law.
9. Deletion and termination
You may request deletion in the app. A request remains pending until the deletion process completes. Active App Store subscriptions must be managed separately through Apple. Accounts that materially breach these terms may be restricted or terminated subject to law.
10. Liability and consumer rights
We provide Defteri with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, JCG Nutrition Ltd is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, result from unauthorized or unlawful use, incorrect information entered by a user, failure to follow food-safety guidance, or an interruption outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus. If you are a consumer, you retain the protection of any mandatory law that applies where you live and may use the courts available to you under applicable consumer law. In other cases, the courts of Cyprus have exclusive jurisdiction.
12. Contact and changes
We may update these terms when Defteri or the law changes. We will show the effective date and provide additional notice where required.
